Hi All,
Thank you all that left comments last week. Still having trouble with replying back to you all.
I have been working on my Crane Sashiko.
The first photo is where I got up to, the 2nd photo is where I am up to now. Getting there slowly.
I had to change to a smaller needle as the bigger needle I had was harder to get through the fabric, as it has a larger eye on the needle. The stitch length is smaller on this panel too.
On Wednesday night I was outside near a camp fire. I tripped over a piece of wood and grazed my left knee and left lower arm, have a small bruise on my left wrist also have a small graze on my right palm of my hand, all healing up well.
Through the week I have been going through things here and throwing out things that we do not need. Lately I have not felt like sewing, but will be back into it soon as I have a few swaps I need to get done.
Tomorrow it is our 18th Wedding Anniversary, The years have been going too fast.
I hope you all have a great weekend with what is left of it.

Hi All,
I have finished my Sashiko. This is where I was up to yesterday. Finished it yesterday afternoon, last photo, I just need to find a fabric to back it with and sew it on. It has taken me a few years on and off to do it.

The photos are out of order as you can see.
It feels good to have it all stitched though.
We have had more more which started on Thursday night and we woke up to the sound of rain early in the morning. All up we have had 53mls, so just over 2 inches.
Yesterday I started another Sashiko panel, this is a smaller one.
The background looks black but it is a navy blue. Not sure how long it is going to take to do. As I go along with it I will post progress photos.
I have made Hot Cross Buns for the first time.
Happy Easter to you all.
From Sue.

Hi All,
Thanks for all your comments, still having trouble commenting back. On Friday we woke up to rain, which was great. All up we had 35mls. It was great to hear and see. The rain water tank was over flowing again, which was great to see. Some of the water soaked into the ground fast as it is thirsty.
I did not turn my sewing machine on, as we had Lightening and Thunderstorms. I had my machine unplugged to be on the safe side.
I did get some Sashiko done which was good.

Getting there.
I also made a small bag to put things in.
The Sashiko has been done over a few days. It is great I am almost finished with it. Just need to decide which fabric for the back.
Stay safe everyone.
